Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?
Mobile, Alabama, along the Gulf Coast.
Do you travel?
ABSOLUTELY! I shoot all along the coast from Gulfport to Pensacola, but have traveled as far as Maryland for sessions. Travels may apply, but let's talk today about me traveling to or with you.
Do shoot elopements?
Yes, yes and yes. I have been traveling with my photography full time for a year. I am also partnering with Joyful Vows to bring you all-inclusive elopements packages. Coming soon, so stay tuned!
Do you offer different packages?
Yes I have three wedding collections for you to choose from, all including wedding day coverage and products and/or images. If you don't see a collection that fits your needs, shoot me a message and we can create on that suites you.
Is there a deposit?
Yes, you will pay a retainer to retain Randi P Photography on your specific date. The booking fee is $250 and comes off of your total collection cost.
When is my balance due?
No later than 1 month before your wedding date.
Do you use a flash?
I prefer to use natural light in most all of my sessions. There are certain indoor situations where I may use lighting equipment and/or a flash.
Do you work with a shot list?
I do encourage all of my clients--regardless of session type--to send me specific shots you would like (and for weddings, I encourage a Pinterest board). I want you to walk away from your session having the shots you had in your mind before we ever started and since I cannot read your mind, the shot lists you send helps me to give you the shots you wanted. This is especially important on your wedding day?
What forms of payment do you accept?
Digital means of payment have worked best for both myself and my clients the past several year. I accept credit/debit cards, along with PayPal, Venmo, ApplePay, CashApp and FB pay. I do try and accommodate each client, so please let me know if there is a better form of payment that works for you.
Do I receive every image you shoot?
No, you do not. I do not keep test shots, duplicates, blurry shots or shots with subjects with eyes closed or unflattering facial expressions. You receive the best shots, which are the ones I edit. For a wedding, the average number of retouched digital images delivered are 50-75/per hour. You will received these images on a USB drive.
How do I receive my images?
Your engagement, bridal and wedding sneak peeks will be delivered via online gallery. Due to the high number of wedding photo edited, these images will be given to you via USB drive.
When will I receive my images?
Sneak peeks are posted within days of your wedding--typically that night or the following day because I know how excited you are to share them with the world. The entire edited collection is delivered 6-8 weeks after the wedding date.
How many photographers will be there on the big day?
All collections include 1 photographer, me. There is an option to add an additional photographer, rates begin at 250 and are based on wedding date and photographer availability.
What if I want more products than what is included in my collection?
Additional products may be purchased. Please ask for current pricing.
What if I don't need one of the session included with my collection?
There are no substitutions for complimentary sessions included in your package, but you may opt to not participate in any session.
What if I don't need one of the session included with my collection?
I shoot with a Nikon Z7, which is a mirrorless camera. I do bring an extra camera and lens for backup. You can never be too safe!
What if I need more hours?
Additional time can be added onto any collection.
Do you offer customized packages?
Absolutely! If you do not see a package that fits you, shoot me a message on the contact me form and we will figure out something that works best for you.
