“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,"plans to prosper you and not to harm your, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Time to meet the girl behind the camera...

Hey ya'll...If you're here, let me 'bore' you will some facts about me, Randi Poole. I was born and raised in Grand Bay, Alabama--a small rural community outside of the city of Mobile--the birth place of Mardi Gras (no, it's not New Orleans). I went to college for 6 years and received my Bachelor and Master of Science degrees. By day (aka my everyday job that I am schooled for) I am a Nationally Certified Speech Language Pathologist. I have worked in the schools with special education children for 8 years--4 years in Biloxi, Mississippi and the other 4 with a travel company where I worked in Alaska, Louisiana and Arizona. I have recently moved back home, where I work as a Speech Therapist in Nursing Homes, even with this I travel. Traveling is one of my passions.  My biggest accomplishment to date is visiting ALL 50 STATES in my first 30 years; a few months before my 31st birthday I booked a last minute (2 days before) trip to Oahu to hit my 50th state: Hawaii. I always get asked what my favorite state is: Alaska is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen and the Northern Lights are by far the most phenomenal thing I have witnessed to date. However, I did not like living there. Arizona is pretty high on the list--I miss the mountains, cactus, stunning hiking trails, unbeatable sunsets and year round wonderful weather. I have also been to 14 countries--mostly by cruise--and my current goal is to visit more countries. Top 3 favorite countries so far are Curaçao, Aruba and St. Kitts.  And if you're wondering how I am able to do so much travel, it's because I don't have kids...yet.

My loves: Jesus, my parents, my sister and my niece and two nephews.

A few likes: beach, deep sea fishing, sweets, Alabama football, sushi, diet coke, bonfires, Under Armor, aviators, hoodies, Woodwick candles, baking royal icing cookies, Disney World, forensic science shows, white chocolate Reese eggs and KitKats, Chewy Sprees, Post-Its, hiking, country music, Keds, coconut shaved ice, all Nicholas Sparks movies, my Macbook, sarcasm, Moscato.

A few dislikes: being cold (unless I'm snow skiing), mushrooms, bad grammar, when people play videos on their phones with the volume maxed out and people who type on their phone with the volume turned on, bugs, people who ride in the fast lane, olives, TV monitors at gas pumps, reading, sand in my sandals, white socks, returning or exchanging things, waking up early, scary movies, beer.

Now that you know more about me, I guess you want to know about my photography. Although I have always had a camera of some sort in my hand, I do not have any formal training in photography.  I am 100% self-taught when it comes to being a photographer. I began Randi P Photography in 2012 and have made the progress I have made in 10+ years now. I continue to educate myself and learn more and more about photography. I was laid off from my Speech Therapy job  I would love to be able to do photography full time one day. Now that I am back home and can begin to grow my business--I wasn't able to do this the 4 years I traveled nationwide with my work--I plan to finally get a studio. Big things are in the future for Randi P. So long as I keep God at the forefront of it all, He will guide me where he wants me to be.

I can't wait to work with you,

Randi P
